Delegated Administration

After your iPrism is installed and configured, your environment may require that you delegate the on-going security policy administration to others in your organization. iPrism makes this easy with the Delegated Administration feature accessed through Central Management. The administrative flexibility this feature offers can enhance your overall IT management strategy. The chart below outlines the Roles and Privileges you can assign within your team:

Role		Privileges
Superuser		ALL
GPA Global Policy Administrator		Access to ALL policy (profiles), including Lock ACL. No access to System or Authentication setup.
DPA Delegated Partition Administrator		Access to partition-specific policy (profiles). No access to Lock ACL, System or Authentication setup.
iPrism-wide privileged user		User privileges are carried over to iPrism as a "role" which can be configured.
Partition privileged user		User privileges are carried over to iPrism, configurable, but limited to the partition of the user. If the user has reporting privilege, it applies to their partition only.
